The Manga studio brushes showcased on this page were modeled on real airbrush behavior and shoot directly out of the pen tip in the direction that it is pointed (virtually of course) ... so these are a different type of brush ....nothing shipped with Manga Studio work like these.
The AirCloud and Airbrush are real workhorse tools while the SprayPencil brush airbrushes pencil shading ... how good is that ? Splidge brush is good for building explosions and other dynamic stuff.
Most of the brushes also have textures installed in them... hopefully they come across with the brush. The textures are almost invisible until you check the "Emphasize Density" checkbox on the Tool Property palette. I designed those textures to specifically work with Brushes and they do open up a whole load of extra possibilities.
They are all designed to be used with a pen tilt sensitive tablet ...e.g. an Intuous or a Cintiq ... if You do not have that type of tablet ( or are just using a mouse) then they can still be used but you will need to make the following adjustment..... Go to the "Sub Tool Detail" palette and find the "Direction" control which is on the "Brush tip" tab. At the far right of the Direction control is a little icon... click this and a sub menu appears... change the setting from "Pen Orientation" to "Line Orientation" ... THATS IT !
These brushes have been added to the new Manga studio v5 brush collections that can be previewed here fav.me/d6l8ikp and here fav.me/d6o1oj1 and can be downloaded from here ( collection1) sellfy.com/p/gESW/ and from here(collection 2) sellfy.com/p/fKjD/
Collection 1 contains 103 brushes plus a free set of useful automated Actions . Collection 2 contains 118 brushes,blenders and pencils and also comes with a free set of automated actions. The brushes in both sets are completely different. These specific airbrushes are in Collection 2
I recommend you at least try the Airbrush and Spraypencil tools

So these zip files aren't all the brushes correct? And to put these brushes in manga studio, do the zip files come with instructions on how to transfer the brushes in?
